Background
The website was created in 2022 by Kaitlyn M. Parker under the name Kaitlyn’s Book Reviews, a lighthearted space devoted to candid takes on books. Posts were short and sweet, intended to summarize opinions in a bite size format. The blog’s original focus was narrow by design, but over time it became clear that a rhetorical evolution was necessary for the project to mature. Shifting in tone, the website adopted longer content to encompass both accessible commentary and analytical analysis. In 2025, that evolution culminated into The Moonlit Pages, a full rebrand.
